Takoma Park Friends Meeting-(Preparative) gathered on 1/18/2025 in the library of the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church, following meeting for worship.
We heard and discussed queries from Baltimore Yearly Meeting Faith and Practice on meetings for worship.
The treasurer’s report for the period 12/1/25 to 1/18/2026 was presented and accepted (attached).
We discussed preparation of the spiritual state of the meeting report and decided to hold a second next week on this.
We discussed the process for approving service and identified several possible approaches, including growing the meeting so we have more candidates for officers.
We heard that Adelphi Friends meeting approved delegating approval of the Takoma Park meeting budget to Adelphi’s finance committee.
We heard and approved these minutes. We adjourned, to gather next on February 15, 2026, or at the call of the presiding clerk.
