Queries from Faith and Practice: Discussion re: meditation, prayer, guidance, and sharing spiritual insights. Queries included:
Do you make time for meditation, prayer, and worship?
Do you read the Bible and other inspirational works seeking new light?
Do you regularly seek God’s guidance?
Are you open to guidance and support?
Do you give thanks for them?
Personal Reflections: Participants reflected on their practices of prayer and communication with the Divine Spirit and discussed the importance of ongoing learning, communication with Spirit, and expressing gratitude.
Spiritual State of the Meeting Report: Noted that the report was circulated on the listserve and no changes were suggested. It was approved by the Meeting two weeks ago. We are prepared to submit the report to Adelphi.
Racism Working Group Query Responses: minor typos corrected. It was noted that disability inclusion was not addressed therein. Submission to Adelphi approved.
Action Items
Agreement to submit the Spiritual State of the Meeting report to Adelphi.
Acceptance of the revised notes re: the BYM Working Group on racism
Next Meeting for Business will be May 10.
