Takoma Park Friends Meeting-(Preparative) gathered on 6/21/2026 in the library of the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church, following meeting for worship.
We heard and discussed queries from Baltimore Yearly Meeting Faith and Practice on Home and Family.
The treasurer’s report for the period 12/1/25 to 6/21/2026 was presented and accepted (attached).
Our spiritual state of the meeting report was accepted by Adelphi Friends Meeting for transmission to Baltimore Yearly Meeting
We considered gifts to Quaker organizations on first reading, involving a gift of $200 to each of six groups which received funds from us last year.
We discussed the desirability of holding a table at the Maple Avenue Juneteenth celebration on Saturday June 19, 2027, and the possibility of inviting folks from Adelphi Friends Meeting to join us for tabling opportunities.
We heard and approved these minutes. We adjourned, to gather next on July 19, 2026, or at the call of the presiding clerk.
