Takoma Park Friends Meeting-(Preparative) gathered on 7/19/2026 in the library of the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church, following meeting for worship.
We heard and discussed queries from Baltimore Yearly Meeting Faith and Practice on Caring for Others.
The treasurer’s report for the period 12/1/25 to 7/19/2026 was presented and accepted (attached).
We approved gifts to Quaker organizations on second reading, involving a gift of $200 to each of the following six groups: AFSC, FCNL, FGC, FGC (with an earmark for the Quaker Coalition for Uprooting Racism), Friends Peace Teams, and Right Sharing of World Resources. We considered gifts to community groups on first reading, involving a gift of $200 to the six groups supported last year.
We heard and approved these minutes. We adjourned, to gather next on August 16, 2026, or at the call of the presiding clerk.
