Takoma Park Friends Meeting-Preparative gathered on 10/17/2021 through a Zoom audio/video connection.
We heard and discussed queries from Baltimore Yearly Meeting Faith and Practice on the peace testimony.
Tricia Crocker, treasurer, presented the budget-year-to-date treasurer’s report for the period 12/1/2020 to 10/17/2021 (attached). We accepted the report.
We approved the budget for FY 2022 (ending Nov. 30, 2022) on second reading (attached).
We will have next month a first reading of service positions for the meeting for calendar 2022 (except for Treasurer, which has already been approved).
We decided to hold an outdoor meeting at a time to be arranged.
We decided to hold meetings for business in person. We also decided to continue our policy wearing masks inside, regardless of whether they are required by health authorities.
We heard and approved these minutes. We adjourned, to gather next on November 21, 2021, at the rise of meeting, or at the call of the presiding clerk.
