Takoma Park Friends Meeting-Preparative gathered on 2/16/2025 in the library of the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church, following meeting for worship.
We heard and discussed queries from Baltimore Yearly Meeting Faith and Practice on Meetings for Business.
The treasurer’s report for the period 12/1/2024 to 2/16/2025 was presented and accepted (attached).
We discussed the spiritual state of the meeting report on first reading.
We decided to donate $1,000 out of the bequest received from John Knight to the yearly meeting, with the possibility of a further donation (up to 25%), depending on our situation later in the year.
We heard and approved these minutes. We adjourned, to gather next on March 16, 2025, or at the call of the presiding clerk.
