Takoma Park Friends Meeting-Preparative gathered on 4/23/2023 in the library of the Presbyterian Church, following meeting for worship.
We heard and discussed queries from Baltimore Yearly Meeting Faith and Practice on Personal Spiritual Life.
Tricia Crocker, treasurer, presented the treasurer’s report for the period 12/1/2022 to 4/23/2023 (attached). We accepted the report.
We noted that Adelphi Friends Meeting has accepted our spiritual state of the meeting report, for transmission to Baltimore Yearly Meeting.
We discussed proposed gifts to Quaker groups. We decided on first reading to give $155 each to FCNL. FGC, Friends Peace Teams, and Right Sharing of World Resources, to be finalized next month.
We heard and approved these minutes. We adjourned, to gather next on May 28, 2023, or at the call of the presiding clerk.
