Takoma Park Friends Meeting-Preparative gathered on 11/19/2023 in the library of the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church, following meeting for worship.
We heard and discussed queries from Baltimore Yearly Meeting Faith and Practice on Education.
Tricia Crocker, treasurer, presented the treasurer’s report for the period 12/1/2022 to 11/19/2023 (attached). We accepted the report.
We empowered the treasurer to implement the budget pending approval by Adelphi Friends Meeting.
We heard a first reading for service positions for 2024.
We tentatively scheduled a holiday celebration for Jan. 7, 2024.
We heard about Adelphi Friends Meeting’s change group and encouragement for Takoma Park friends to participate in change group activities.
We heard and approved these minutes. We adjourned, to gather next on December 17, 2023, or at the call of the presiding clerk.
