Takoma Park Friends Meeting-Preparative gathered on 4/20/2025 at the Presbyterian Church library in Takoma Park, Maryland.
We heard and responded to the fourth set of queries from Baltimore Yearly Meeting’s Faith and Practice on personal spiritual life.
Tricia Crocker, treasurer, presented a budget-year-to-date financial report (attached). We accepted the report.
We considered our bequest. On first reading, we approved using $1,500 of the bequest for these budget changes: increase congregant aid by $400 from $50 to $450; increase community gifts by $550 from $750 to $1,300; and increase Quaker gifts by $550 from $750 to $1,300.
