Takoma Park Friends Meeting-Preparative gathered on 2/19/2023 in the library of the Presbyterian Church, following meeting for worship.
We heard and discussed queries from Baltimore Yearly Meeting Faith and Practice on meetings for business.
Tricia Crocker, treasurer, presented the end-of-year financial report for the fiscal year ending Nov. 30, 2022, as well as the treasurer’s report for the period 12/1/2022 to 2/19/2023 (attached). We accepted the reports.
We decided to hold business meetings on April 23 and May 28, so as to avoid conflict with Adelphi’s business meetings, and the monthly online meeting on the third Sunday on these months.
We considered a draft of the spiritual state of the meeting report on first reading, with a second reading scheduled for next month.
We heard and approved these minutes. We adjourned, to gather next on March 19, 2023, or at the call of the presiding clerk.
