Takoma Park Friends Meeting-Preparative gathered on 11/17/2024 in the library of the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church, following meeting for worship.
We heard and discussed queries from Baltimore Yearly Meeting Faith and Practice on Education.
The treasurer’s report for the period 12/1/2023 to 11/17/2024 was presented (attached). We accepted the report.
We heard that Adelphi Friends Meeting considered the nomination of Tricia Crocker to serve as Treasurer for the fiscal year commencing Dec. 1, 2024 on first reading. A second reading is expected in December.
We considered service appointments for 2025 on first reading.
We approved moving $1,500 to the investment account, since it is no longer needed in the checking account to minimize fees.
A question of producing a directory of attenders was raied.
We heard and approved these minutes. We adjourned, to gather next on December 15, 2024, or at the call of the presiding clerk.
