Takoma Park Friends Meeting-(Preparative) gathered on 3/15/2026 in the library of the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church, following meeting for worship.
We heard and discussed queries from Baltimore Yearly Meeting Faith and Practice on the Meeting Community.
The treasurer’s report for the period 12/1/25 to 3/15/2026 was presented and accepted (attached).
We discussed the spiritual state of the meeting report on first reading. The second reading will be done in two weeks.
We considered on first reading a report on a request from the Baltimore Yearly Meeting working group on racism for feedback.
We decided to skip the April meeting for business.
We approved a loan to Adelphi Friends Meeting in the amount of $15,000 to assist with building construction expenses, for a term of one year and an interest rate of 2%.
We heard and approved these minutes. We adjourned, to gather next on March 29, 2026, or at the call of the presiding clerk.
