Takoma Park Friends Meeting-Preparative gathered on 12/15/2024 in the library of the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church, following meeting for worship.
We heard and discussed queries from Baltimore Yearly Meeting Faith and Practice on the Environment.
The treasurer’s reports for the fiscal year ending 11/30/2024, and for the period 12/1/2024 to 12/15/2024 were presented (attached). We accepted the report for FY 2024 and a suggestion was made that the current fiscal year report may need amendment for clarification.
We heard that Adelphi Friends Meeting at its business meeting on Dec. 8 approved the renewal of Tricia Crocker’s term as Treasurer for one year, commencing Dec. 1, 2024.

We learned that BYM has produced material for Faith and Practice on the environment and that comments via Adelphi Friends Meeting would be appropriate. We will be soliciting comments from meeting attenders.
We decided to hold a second hour on January 26 to prepare a spiritual state of the meeting report.
We decided to hold a holiday gathering on January 5.
We heard and approved these minutes. We adjourned, to gather next on January 19, 2025, or at the call of the presiding clerk.
